BENSON — Early morning motorists found the going slow near Benson this morning. A tractor-trailer accident brought rescue crews to the scene, and traffic was slowed, then blocked, in both directions.
The accident occurred on Highway 242, about two miles south of Benson.
The trailer's driver was apparently trapped in the cab, and a medical helicopter was dispatched.
The highway patrol was at the scene, regulating traffic.
