Traffic on U.S. Highway 401 in Fuquay-Varina was slowed early Tuesday evening as emergency crews battled a house fire.
Posted — UpdatedFUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — Traffic on U.S. Route 401 in Fuquay-Varina was slowed early Tuesday evening as emergency crews battled a house fire.
Firefighters rushed to the blaze at the intersection of Route 401 and Hill Top Road about 5 p.m. No one was in the residence at the time, and no injuries were reported, emergency officials said.
Both directions of Route 401 in the area of Hill Top Road experienced delays as emergency crews in the area blocked the road. Drivers were being rerouted through the area
