RALEIGH, N.C. — Dozens of toy stores across the nation are shutting their doors for good and that means many workers will soon be out of a job.

Toys R Us To Close 87 Stores
Toys R Us plans to close a total of 87 stores, including its Glenwood Avenue location in Raleigh. The toy store's Durham and Cary locations, however, will remain open.
Nationwide, 12 of the stores will be converted to the chain's baby store, Babies R Us.
As a result of the closings, about 3,000 positions will be cut.
