WELDON, N.C. — The future of Halifax Community College's embattled president is still unknown.

The college's Board of Trustees was expected to vote Tuesday on whether to end Ted Gasper's suspension or replace him. Members, however, delayed the vote until Friday.

Gasper has been on administrative leave since September 2005 while investigative teams looked into nearly two dozen allegations, ranging from intimidating college employees to altering the wording on his multi-year contract.
