BAILEY, N.C. — A man was found dead Monday when firefighters arrived at a burning mobile home near Bailey in Nash County, officials said.
Ivan Donald Murray, 78, apparently lived alone, they said.
Investigators were at the scene Monday evening, trying to determine how the fire began at 8326 South N.C. 851. It was reported at 3:27 p.m.
Firefighters from three departments helped extinguish the fire, officials said.
There were no other injuries in the incident.
