<b>RINGWOOD</b> — Halifax County deputies are searching for three men who posed as meter readers before kidnapping a young girl Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies say the men forced their way into an elderly woman's home near the small town of Ringwood. They taped her mouth and bound her hands, then left with her 10-year-old grand-daughter.

The young girl was found physically unharmed in Nash County.
