Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police announced Wednesday that they found the remains of two people in a wooded area near Capital Boulevard.
Authorities said the remains were found at the site of an informal encampment. They also said a fire had occurred in the wooded area, but investigators are not sure how the victims died.
The remains have been taken to the state medical examiner's office.
