Two parents have been charged after investigators said they assaulted a pair of school officials.

<b>HENDERSON, N.C.</b> — Authorities said two parents have been charged with assaulting two school officials.

The Vance County Sheriff's Office has charged James Williamson with physical assault and communicating threats. His wife, Katina Williamson, has also been charged with assault.

Investigators said the Williamsons got into an argument with the principal and assistant principal at Northern Vance High School.

Both school officials suffered minor scrapes and cuts.
