Silo Fire May Have Been Caused by Hot Weather

SELMA — The high heat may have caused a silo fire in Johnston County Monday.

A small hopper attached to a grain silo caught fire at Wayne Feeds in Selma. Crews from two fire departments had to climb more than 80 feet to get to the hopper.

No one was hurt.
