RALEIGH — A grand jury has decided that no charges will be filed against a Food Lion employee who severely beat a robber two months ago.
The suspect, Jason Paul Cort, later died in a hospital due to his injuries.
The grand jury found no probable cause to indict the store employee of voluntary manslaughter.
