CARY — A Raleigh man was struck by a car while walking on U-S 1 North near Crossroads Mall Sunday night.
Glen Horn had parked his dune buggy by the side of the road, and was walking in the middle lane when he was hit near the Cary Walnut Street exit.
He died instantly.
Investigators said they found alcohol inside Horn's vehicle.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the car that hit him.
