FUQUAY-VARINA — A one-car accident in Fuquay-Varina early Sunday afternoon has claimed one life. At least four people may have been in the vehicle.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of Highway 42 and Phelps Road.
The police department has not released the identities of those involved.
As a result of the accident, at least 1000 Sprint customers west of Fuquay lost service. That service is expected to be restored by 8 p.m.
