Durham Man Gunned Down in Intersection

Posted April 8, 2007

— Police asked for information from the public Sunday as they investigated the slaying of a man in a city intersection.

Jimmy Williams, 49, of South Street, died at Duke University Hospital of gunshot wounds, police said. Officers found him lying in the roadway at Stout Drive and Lodge Street shortly after 2 a.m. following a call about a shooting, they said.

Witnesses told police that Williams had been arguing with two men before they heard shots. The two men ran away afterward, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about the homicide to call Investigator M. Soucie at 560-4440, ext. 274 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200.

Durham, Raleigh... all have bad places including Cary. When parts of the city gets very old the very poor, section 8 welfare... move in and that's the end of that section being safe. I don't care where you go.

If you are moving to Durham, here are some "key codes" under the "Equal Protection Under The Law" Amendment to the Constitution. If you are black, when you are "victimized", stay away from the "gang related", "Drug relate" disclaimers. That's a code for "who cares" or we need to save "tax-payers money at the expense of human life". It is "low" (real low) on the priority list for Bill "G.W. Bush" Bell, Police Chief Chambers, or Judge Orlando "Find-a-way-to-let'em-back-out" Hudson. If you are white, we will "invade" England or hang our D.A., if necessary to insure justice,(see) Mike Peterson, Duke Lacrosse and other white-victim cases. Equal Protection Under the Law! Right! and Bush has a BRAIN!

I fail to understand why people who don't live in a city, and profess loudly across the Internet that they'd never even visit same, care so much about hating a place.

Still proud to be a Durhamite.

Durham somebody got murdered in Durham, it is hard to believe. I think if you compare the only difference between downtown Bagdad and Durham is the ones doing the killing don't have guts enough to strap explosives to themselves and blow themselves up with the one or ones they are going to murder.

Hmm..yawn...It's sad that this isn't shocking.

"If they ever decide to give N.C. an enema, Durham is pretty much where the pipe is going in....." now that's funny! Flush em out.

Drive around south east Raleigh at 4am. They are all over the place. Why? Who the hell knows.

Drug deal gone wrong? Probably so. There is no reason to be out in that area at 2am, and arguing at that.

In the words of Mayor Bill"George W. Bush" Bell, "If you aren't committing a crime or don't have anything to do with the criminal element in Durham; you're safe. You have nothing to worry about". Last week there was a "drive-by" in the Mayor's neighborhood--wonder what "crimes" they are committing over there? But don't worry Mr. Mayor, stray bullets won't hurt, injure or kill innocent people--just criminals. Let's see, Al had some of Strom's DNA in him; maybe Bell has some Bush DNA in him! Makes sense. Welcome to Durhham--don't forget to "DUCK".
