WENDELL — A Wendell woman who suffered from smoke inhalation during a Thursday morning fire, is recovering at a local hospital.
Fire gutted her apartment off Marshbourne Avenue around 9 a.m. Residents were forced from their apartments as fire crews doused the flames.
Sylvia Culbertson was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
