RALEIGH — Some Wake County school kids had quite a wake-up call this morning when their bus was involved in a wreck.
The accident happened just after 7:00 Friday morning on New Bern Avenue when a car hit the back of the bus. The 26 students on the bus were headed to Enloe High School. Four of them were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Two people in the car, including a five-month-old baby, were also taken in for minor injuries. The Wake County school bus driver is charged with a safe movement violation.
