Diesel Fuel Spill Causes Traffic Hassles In Orange County

Posted Updated

ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. — A diesel fuel spill is finally cleaned up in Orange County.

Officials say the driver went over a bridge near the Efland exit on Interstate 85 and hit a bump, causing the tank to become loose from the truck.

When the driver realized diesel fuel was leaking, he pulled over.

Officials estimate about 150 gallons of fuel spilled. They closed down the ramp on exit 161 to clean up the mess.
