RALEIGH — A law officer and two suspects were hurt in a drug bust Thursday night near a northeast Raleigh convenience store.
Sergeant W.L. Rowe of the Wake County Sheriff's department was hit when a car of four suspects tried to run him down. Another officer fired into the car, wounding two of the suspects. None of the injuries are considered serious.
Two suspects were injured when an officer fired into the car. Neither the suspects nor the officer's injuries are life threatening. Charges are expected to be filed against the suspects.
The SBI has been called to investigate because shots were fired by an officer.
