RAEFORD — We still don't know who killed a five-year-old Hoke County girl, but now we know how she died.
The medical examiner says Brittany Locklear drowned. The little girl was kidnapped from her bus stop in January. Her body was found in a drainage ditch a day later.
Despite help from the FBI and several law enforcement agencies, there is still no suspect.
