CASTALIA — A Nash County egg farm is fighting a state closure order in court.
The Attorney General's office shut down the Yang Poultry Farm near Castalia because its lagoon is too full. According to a court order, the farm can't go back into business until the lagoon levels drop.
The farm is appealing the decision to a superior court judge.
