CHAPEL HILL — Two University of North Carolina maintenance workers are accused of cutting out pieces of the wood floor from UNC'S Carmichael Auditorium.
Police say Kenneth Hackney Junior and Terry Ward returned the floor pieces with Tar Heel footprints yesterday.
Both men face misdemeanor charges of injury to real property.
