RALEIGH — Firefighters battled high winds and flames outside a North Raleigh townhouse Tuesday night.
The fire broke out in a townhouse at the Loft Apartments on Six Forks Road. A mother and her 4-year-old daughter got out safely.
Firefighters blame an electrical short for sparking the fire in an outside storage area. None of the other units was damaged.
