FREMONT — A Fremont woman was found murdered Tuesday afternoon.
Details are sketchy, but WRAL-TV5 News has learned that 76-year-old Molly Ellis was found dead in Fremont late Tuesday afternoon. Officials aren't saying where she was found or exactly how she died, but they are investigating the death as a homicide.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department said that Ellis had been missing for a few days.
