— The wife of a Fort Bragg soldier found guilty of various sex crimes against a child inside their home pleaded guilty to her role in the crimes on Monday.

Lori Anthony pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree rape, attempted incest, felony child abuse involving a sex act, first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and taking indecent liberties with a child.

After entering her plea in a Hoke County courtroom, she was sentenced to at least 12 years in prison.

Both are disgusting and need more time in jail...under the jail. ICK!

Good points, thanks. I definitely don't condone naming the victims, in any case. But I'd like to know what to watch out for -- these two were probably considered "trusted adults" by someone, which is a shame.

Are there any advocate sites out there that provide warning signs? Do warning signs even exist? I'm looking for good, balanced advice that isn't likely to just cause paranoia.

Although honestly, sometimes paranoia seems like a good idea....

if they told all the story here 'you are correct sir" then those that would like to copy the act as sick as it is would have the perfect instructional tool. Sometimes less said is definately better. I am sure the powers that be have decidedit is best for public health in general not to tell everything to the readers..

"That is correct sir," it may be that they don't give more details in order to avoid identifying the survivor(s) of the crime. With the "blame the victim" mentality that so many people have, and with these young people already terrorized, they deserve protection and privacy.

I agree with mug of stout.... maybe they will get theirs in prison. No child should EVER be violated in that manner!

The man is going to fry. But that equally sorry, filthy poor excuse of a woman is going to get a slap on the wrist. She is going to pull far less time than the man does. Why because our justice system sucks !!! Pay attention folks and you will notice that women can kill her own children, husband or whatever and she will, if not get off scotch free then, pull little or not time.

justplainamerican: "You are correct sir it was made clear that family members were involved when they convicted her of incest."

Yes, you're right, and my post said it sounded that way, but there are still a lot of details missing. It seems like there's a lot the story isn't sharing -- how did these two get the child into their home? What tricks did they use? How did they fool whatever relative was involved?

lizkelly: "You can't trust people with your kids anymore."

Exactly! That's why I'm concerned with what's not being said in this story. I want to know how these things were made possible, in order to know how to prevent them in the future. As a parent, I'm scared to death of how many of these incidents are happening nowadays. Summer's coming, and I worry about which day camps to trust with my children! It's sad to have to worry, but better safe than sorry, so I'm trying to figure out warning signs, etc. in order to be as safe as possible.

I talk to people all the time about how the times of raising kids has changed. THIS IS WHY!!!! You can't trust people with your kids anymore. You wonder what goes through these peoples heads as they torture these kids and ruin them for life. SICK SICK SICK SICK!!!

You are correct sir it was made clear that family members were involved when they convicted her of incest. These two are members of the lowest form of life. As for being killed in prison that won't happen as a person that works at one of the state penal institutions I can say that they will have a warm clean bed, three meals a day {which they will complain about daily} cable tv, pool tables and the list just goes on.
