FAYETTEVILLE — A third teenager now faces charges in connection with the June, 1996 death of a Fayetteville high school student.
Chris Eggleston's body was found near Westover High School last June, after the teen had been missing for several days. Friday, police filed a petition charging a juvenile with conspiracy to commit first degree kidnapping.
A 16-year-old girl also faces similar charges.
Police say Matthew Meyers, who was arrested the day Eggleston's body was found is responsible for the murder.
