CHAPEL HILL — The Chapel Hill Carrboro School System is looking for a few good men and women to get behind the wheel.
Recent resignations have created a serious shortage of bus drivers. Supervisors are driving morning and afternoon routes. Many students are arriving late at school and are late getting home.
Officials say having one driver out will affect six routes in both the morning and afternoon. Currently there are nine positions that are completely vacant.
If you'd like to drive the bus, call942-5045. Successful applicants will receive $100 as a signing bonus.
