RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina State University student was found dead inside a campus apartment late Friday afternoon after an apparent seizure, authorities said.
N.C. State authorities said that family members of 21-year-old John Lee of Charlotte called them on Friday requesting that they check on Lee's whereabouts, saying that he had not been in contact with them since Monday.
When officers arrived at Lee's apartment in Wolf Village, they found him unresponsive inside the residence.
Emergency personnel later pronounced Lee dead at the scene. A UNC medical examiner ruled that Lee died as a result of a medical condition that caused a seizure.
