N.C. State Employee Also Has S. Florida Loyalties

RALEIGH, N.C. — For one local college football fan, it's more than a clash of colors when it comes to the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

Susan Grant proudly wears her Wolfpack colors, but she doesn't mind sporting a pennant from the University of South Florida. The Bulls and the Wolfpack square off Saturday in Charlotte.

Grant's dilemma? South Florida is her alma mater, but she works for N.C. State.

"I was at USF for six years when they didn't have a football program, so I was into basketball," said Grant. "But I've been at N.C. State for 20 years, so I'll have to say -- go Pack!"

Grant said she's taken some light-hearted ribbing from friends and colleagues about her ties to both schools. She believes she's in a win-win situation.
