RALEIGH, N.C. — One Raleigh homeowner woke up Thursday morning with a light pole through her house.

"I was sleeping and all of a sudden, there was a loud, loud crash. We just jumped and start running," said homeowner Effie Collins.
Police say a driver fell asleep at the wheel on Jimmy Carter Way. The car the person was driving hit a light pole, knocking it down on the roof of the car.
Authorities said the car and the pole went through a yard until it ended up at the house. The car bumped into the house, but the pole kept going through the house.
No one was hurt. There is no word on any charges.
