Raleigh Burglary Suspects Caught After Break-In

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two burglary suspects in Raleigh didn't get very far on Wednesday, after authorities caught them shortly after an alleged break-in.

Investigators said that the men had just broken into a home on Falls Tower Drive off Falls of the Neuse. A neighbor spotted the burglars and called police with a description of the vehicle. Shortly afterward, a sheriff's deputy spotted the suspects on Durant Road.

Wake County deputies and Raleigh Police captured the men at Capital Boulevard and I-540 after their car blew a tire. One suspect attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended shortly thereafter. One suspect was taken to WakeMed for treatment.

The car was packed with stolen goods, including jewelry and electronics.
