FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A new bike is guaranteed to bring a smile this Christmas to dozens of Fayetteville children.
That's the goal of Fayetteville's Moses Mathis. For years, Mathis has refurbished donated bikes and has given them away to Cumberland County children.
This year, he'll hand out at least 650 bicycles. Mathis is also giving away at least 75 computers.
Mathis said that he hopes to start up a similar giveaway next year in Wake County.
