Murder, Arson Suspect Now Faces Sex Charges

Bernard Sanford
RALEIGH, N.C. — A man accused of murder and arson can add sex abuse charges to that list.

A Wake County grand jury indicted Bernard Sanford of 20 counts of child sex abuse. Raleigh police arrested him in April after a shooting.

Police say Sanford killed a man, shot a woman then set their home on fire.

Pornographic photos found inside the home led to the new charges.
