The shooting happened near the corner of
East Enterprise Street and Scout Drive
just after 11 a.m.
Durham police said that an officer was on patrol when he was flagged down at 11:12 a.m. and told that a man had been shot.
The officer found Jason Harrington, 23, of South Roxboro Street on the ground next to a car in the 1000 block of Scout Drive. Harrington was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting and no charges have been filed at this time.
