DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are warning some residents to lock their doors and windows.
Durham police say that a man has entered three unlocked houses in the Forest Hills neighborhood.
In all three cases, the homeowners were sleeping.
In two cases, they woke up and scared away the man. In another case the burglar swiped some jewelry, but dropped it outside the home.
