Raleigh, N.C. — More is becoming known about the murder of a Wendell woman and the gruesome scene investigators found when they got to her home.
It happened Feb. 13. Words were scrawled on the kitchen floor in blood in the home in the Eagles Crossing subdivision.
Nneka Wilson's body was found nearby. Her husband, Jakiem Wilson, who first told police he had found his wife slain in their home, is charged with first-degree murder.
Search warrants released Friday reveal that officers took a host of weapons from the home, including handguns, rifles, shotguns, spent bullet casings, hatchets, axes and other cutting tools.
DNA samples were also taken from Jakiem Wilson and Roderick Howell, one of two teenagers accused of helping cover up the crime.
