Costco Warehouse Coming To Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — Costco will build a warehouse store in Raleigh at the site of the old Pepsi Bottling plant.

Costco purchased the nearly 15-acre site for $7.9 million last week, according to the

Wake County Property Appraiser's office

.

The new warehouse will be at the corner of

Six Forks Road and Wake Forest Road

.

The low-cost membership warehouse company had already submitted plans with the city of Raleigh for a new building.

The plans call for 148,663 square feet of retail space.
