Auditions For Wake Performing Arts Show To Be Held This Week

RALEIGH, N.C. — Auditions start today for a performing arts extravaganza in Wake County.

Students from Wake County schools will try our for the 23rd annual

Pieces of Gold

show.

Students and teachers work throughout the year to produce a performance that supports the curriculum as well as entertains an enthusiastic audience. Judges will select 25 to 30 groups to perform at Memorial Auditorium in March.

Auditions are from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Southeast Raleigh High School.
