Raleigh Thieves Target Coin-Op Laundry Machines

Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a rash of thefts from coin-operated laundry machines at several apartment complexes.

Police said 26 reports have been filed from Dec. 6, 2006 and Feb. 28, 2007, concerning the thefts.

Authorities said 22 thefts happened in north Raleigh, with 17 of them occurring between Glenwood Avenue and Louisburg Road. Police said five complexes have filed multiple incident reports.

jasttn, I have read a lot of your comments on other posts, and you are always the first to to bring out race, which has noting to do with the articles. I just hope people are more intelligent and ignore your comments. I am a Mexican,legal, as a matter of fact a us citizien.

I actually had my utility trailer broken into at the bradford crossing apartments between 2/10-2/12. got me for over $5000 in tools. what's ironic is that they're laundry machines we're hit during the same time. with any luck and good police work they'll get these parasites.

Close the borders. Search for these guys paying in quarters at the local convenient store for cigarettes and beer.
