FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police have arrested three suspects in connection with the shooting of a convenience store clerk Monday night.
Authorities found Son Hwe Hah, 49, of Fayetteville, dead inside the Pit Stop Food Mart at
1548 Bingham Drive
, where he worked, at about 9:50 p.m. Monday, police said.
Raysheed Jareem Carter, 16, of Fayetteville; Russell Rucker, 20, of 21st Company, Fort Bragg; and Antonio Mintz, 19, of Fayetteville, have all been charged with first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy.
Carter and Rucker are currently in the Cumberland County Jail; Mintz, who was shot during the robbery attempt, was listed in critical condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Investigators, who spent the night at the business gathering evidence and viewing surveillance tapes, would not release any additional information about the case while the investigation is pending, they said.
Hah's death Monday night was the second homicide in Fayetteville this week. Police still have no suspects or motives in the death of a man whose body was found Sunday morning at the Fayetteville barbershop where he worked.
Authorities said Creg Keith Johnson, 38, was killed Saturday night at The Line Up Barber Shop at
6376 Yadkin Road
. Johnson's keys were still in the barbershop door.
