Four teens in Cary were hit by a car while waiting for their school bus Monday morning.

The students were waiting for a bus to take them to Cary High School around 7:15 a.m., said Joe Cliffton, of the Cary Police Department.

Cliffton said the group was hit by Vanessa Rammires, who was driving a 1992 Grand Am. The accident happened as Rammires crossed the intersection of Wrenn Road and Kildare Farm Road.

Three children were taken to the hospital by EMS and another one was taken by a parent to WakeMed. They are all listed in good condition.

The students who were hurt were Maria Reveria, 18, of Bargate Drive, Cary, of Marrisa Strickland, 16, of Seabrook Drive, Cary, Mastewal Gezahegn, 17, of Dahlia Place and Laura Chavez, 18, of Seabrook Drive, Cary.

Rammires, 28, of 309 Bargate Drive, Cary, was charged with driving too fast for conditions, police said.
