3 Shot In Convenience Store Parking Lot
Durham, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night in the parking lot of a convenience store on Angier Avenue.
Officers responded to a call at the Buy Quick at the intersection of Angier and Briggs avenues at about 7:21 p.m.
When they arrived, they found three men who had been shot. All three were taken to a local hospital. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
Investigators think the shots were fired by someone standing behind a chain-link fence near the store. Police do not have a description of a suspect and investigators are still trying to determine a motive.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 919-683-1200.
