More blacks are in jail because more blacks than whites are victims. Check the stats. Violent crime rarely crosses racial lines.

say-no-crackhead what in the blue hell are you talking about?? rainy is right , what you commented about was way out of line. yea there are lots of blacks in durham but your comments was directed towards hard working blacks who try to make a difference. so what there are more blacks in jail than whites who cares. it still dont give you the right to attack honest blacks out there. and i agree with rainy, you sound more like a kkk hiding behind a computer and a hood.

tell you what rainy. go hang out in the jail. see what the majority race is. i'm sick of opression. i've been robbed. i've been turned down for jobs. i've been turned down for medical care. why? because i work for a living. i beleive in the death penalty. i beleive in the 10 commandments. i beleive in the right to practice your own religion. i do however, beleive that our constitution needs to change. it's over 200 years old. it's out dated and it gives liberals and special interest groups room to protest for "rights". the heck with that. you kill someone, you're put to death. you rape, you're castrated. you sell drugs, you get a labotomy. simple. you get hummers while in the oval office, you get impeached. you steal, you work free for years to pay it back...while in jail. so there. i just solved the whole damn thing and didn't even kill an innocent animal to do it!

I agree. I live in Durham, towards Roxboro and it's the nicest place I've ever lived in. They did a report on North Carolina a few months ago, and the crime rate in Raleigh is higher than the crime rate in Durham. That must tell you something right there. Just being rediculous if you assume that one specific place is bad, and not the entire country. Try moving up north. They don't care who you are. If you stare at them, they'll slit your throat and keep walking. At least it isn't that bad here.
