FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating the death of a man who worked at a Fayetteville barbershop.
Creg Keith Johnson, 38, was killed Saturday night, authorities said. His family said he was found Sunday morning shot to death inside First Line Barber Shop at
6376 Yadkin Road
Those who knew him said Johnson would often stay late at work and go in early depending on his clients' shifts.
"I lost a cousin, a brother and a good friend," said Johnson's cousin, Michael Allen. "I feel its senseless for somebody to get killed on the job trying to make a living."
Johnson is survived by his girlfriend and 10-year-old son.
Authorities have not said whether they had any suspects in Johnson's death or what a motive might have been. Fayetteville investigators urge anyone with information about the case to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at
