RALEIGH, N.C. — After nearly four decades in business, a Raleigh restaurant has called it quits.

Tippy's Mexican Restaurant was forced out of business last week after losing its lease.

Tippy's owners said the area's growing Hispanic population was not enough to offset declining sales, which they blamed on the increase in competition.

The owners auctioned off the restaurant's remaining equipment on Saturday.
