The suspects, ranging in age between 16 and 19 years old, are linked to as many as 15 different crimes, including numerous motor vehicle break-ins and a convenience store break-in, over the past three days in the Eureka and Rosewood communities, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
The five suspects -- Brandon M Hill, 18, of Goldsboro; Mark C. Tadlock, 19, of Goldsboro; Andrew Wayne Clark, 18, of Fremont; Mark Allen Clark, 16, of Fremont; and Christopher D. Mooring, 18, of Goldsboro -- were charged with numerous charges, including felony breaking, entering and larceny, felony possession of stolen property and felony larceny of motor vehicles.
One of the suspects, Mark Clark, escaped from the Dobbs Center in Kinston last Friday, stole a truck and drove back to Wake County, authorities said. That truck was recovered outside of Fremont on Wednesday.
