RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested a suspect Wednesday in a Tuesday night home invasion and chase that spanned two counties.
Early Wednesday morning, Arnold Frank Booth, 38, of Kittrell, N.C., was arrested and charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of first-degree kidnapping.
Police said two men led authorities on a chase, with speeds up to 95 mph, into Durham, abandoned the vehicle they were driving and fled the scene.
Investigators said Tuesday night that the men were wanted for a home invasion and for kidnapping Jose Lopez, 25, from the house.
Police are still looking for another suspect and Lopez, who is described as a Hispanic male standing 5 feet 8 inches and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a short-sleeve white-collared shirt with blue horizontal stripes and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information on Lopez's whereabouts or any other information that could help police should contact the Raleigh Police Department at
