<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a man.

Officers arrested  Jermaine Nash, 26, of the 1200 block of Jacobs Street in Fayetteville in connection with the shooting death of Shane Peoples, 26, of the 100 block of Buckner Street.

Peoples died Tuesday after a shooting outside a home at 122 Hammond Street.

Nash is charged with first-degree murder and is in the Cumberland County Jail.
