Rocky Mount, N.C. — The state will seek the death sentence for a woman charged in the shooting death of a funeral home director's wife.
Rose Vincent is charged with the slaying of Julie Bowling. She was shot in December at her home in Rocky Mount.
Assistant District Attorney Keith Warner said he will seek the death sentence for Vincent. Prosecutors said she has already confessed.
The victim's husband, Mark Bowling, is also charged with murder. Warner said previously he planned to seek capital punishment for him.
Police say Vincent and Bowling were linked romantically before the Bowlings married.
