Fayetteville Police: Boy OK After Being Hit By Car At Bus Stop

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A boy waiting for his school bus Tuesday morning was hit by a car, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The accident happened at about 7 a.m. at the corner of
Jupiter Drive and Ponderosa Road
, according to police. The boy appeared not to have any serious injuries, but his mother took him to a local hospital for evaluation.
Police charged Tamika Leach, of Fayetteville, with hit-and-run and failure to reduce speed.
