ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. — A teenager charged with assaulting an 8-year-old with a blow dart is expected to appear in court Monday.
Orange County investigators said Joshua Wrenn blew a 4-inch dart into a group of children who were playing last month.
The dart hit an 8-year-old boy in the back.
Investigators said the boy was not hurt, but a blow dart was considered a deadly weapon.
