Newspaper Carrier Arrested on Fraud, Larceny Charges

News Carrier Suspect in Thefts
A former News & Observer paper carrier wanted for stealing from customers was arrested Tuesday.

Michele Maizda, 32, of Holly Springs, faces nine charges for allegedly stealing items out of mailboxes and unlocked cars in Apex, including three counts of financial card fraud and three counts of larceny.

Investigators say more charges are pending in Cary and Holly Springs.

Police say Maizda's boyfriend, Corey Borwn, is also wanted.

Maizda is being held in the Wake County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.

when you contract out jobs as america is doing you lose quality and ownership and you get what you have here, low paid people who do not care and are out to steal from you.

We can even trust the mail carrier. I remember my mother use to leave a gift during the holidays. That was in the inner city up north.
