Popular Raleigh Brewery Damaged By Fire To Reopen In Cary

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Fire destroyed a popular Raleigh brewery and pub more than a year ago. Now, the owner is planning to reopen in a different Triangle location.

Greenshields is moving to Cary's Preston Walk Shopping Center.

In August 2004, a fire caused about $1.5 million in damages to the old downtown location.

The owner decided it would be cheaper to relocate in another part of Wake County. The new building is scheduled to open in December.
